RYMAN LEAGUE FIXTURES PUBLISHED

14.07.12

The League fixtures for the coming campaign have now been released from Isthmian league Headquarters, giving Dulwich an intriguing time against a Ramsgate side adjusting to life without Jim Ward after eight years at the helm, guiding the Rams through their most successful period in their history. The Kent side twice proved tough opponents last term, Dulwich victorious by a single goal in both encounters, André Costa's early maiden strike settling affairs at Champion Hill whilst Peter Adeniyi's goal sparked apoplectic scenes on the home bench; Ward convinced the officials had missed a blatant handball he had spied through the gloom from 40 yards away!

The late August Bank Holiday sees Dulwich packing the jam tins for newly renamed Crawley Down Gatwick, though that will depend on the result of the previous Saturday's FA Cup tie at home to Hythe Town.

Christmas finds Dulwich on the road with a Boxing Day trip to Chipstead then a bracing outing to the Sussex seaside the following Saturday as Worthing is the destination.

New Year's Day and once more Dulwich Hamlet lock horns with their old rivals, Tooting and Mitcham, now under the stewardship of former Champion Hill reverse team boss, Roberto Forzoni. The return fixture is on Eater Sunday and Forzoni, a member of the Magic Circle, must be hoping to make Dulwich's unbeaten record at Imperial Fields disappear.

The season proper concludes at the end of April, Dulwich off to Herne Bay on the penultimate Saturday of the season before welcoming our old friends from Burgess Hill to Champion Hill on the last day.
