Saturday's 3-3 draw at TUNBRIDGE WELLS was by no means a classic, but it certainly had its moments with drama at both the start and end of the game. With less than two minutes on the clock, a bad back pass from skipper Francis Duku gifted Tunbridge Wells the lead as Keelan Mooney nipped in to slip the ball past a stranded James Dunn. However, within a minute we were back on level terms when Suliaman Bangura powered home a header at the back post from Kevin James' well flighted free-kick. Another James delivery, this time from a left-wing corner to the near post ten minutes later, saw Sol Pinnock head us In front. Later only a fine save from Mikelle Czanner prevented us from forging further ahead, the home 'keeper parrying a rising shot from Ellis Wilson-Joseph after our young midfielder had made a determined run into the box. Tunbridge Wells threatened occasionally, with Sam Phillips and Tom Davey going close, but in the 38th minute we made it 3-1. Sol Pinnock embarked on a fine run down the left and from his cross both Jason Pinnock and Kevin James had efforts blocked before the ball ran back to Jason Pinnock who turned and shot past Czanner from 10 yards.

The second-half was very disappointing from a Hamlet viewpoint. We appeared content to sit back on our lead and with the home team's substitutes having a greater impact than our own, Wells began to press during the closing stages. In the 78th minute, the Kent side were given a lifeline when Jon Pilbeam beat Dean Carpenter on the right and crossed for Andy McMath to rifle past James Dunn from 15 yards. Two minutes from time, only an excellent tackle by Dean Carpenter at the back post prevented an equaliser. As the tie went into stoppage time we broke upfield and Sol Pinnock was denied by Czanner who saved at full stretch at the expense of a corner. But It was a corner at the other end that proved our undoing when, In the fifth minute of stoppage time and with 'keeper Czanner up In the goalmouth, we failed to clear our lines and Benji Agana hooked the ball home from close range to earn his side a replay.
